Hi, I’m Hernán Chousa

My journey in sports began on the tennis court and deepened as I raised two high-performance athletes of my own. That personal experience inspired my first book, My Son the Tennis Player, a raw and relatable look at the emotional ride of parenting in competitive sports.
What started as one story grew into a mission.
I later created ParentShift — both a book and an online course — to help parents show up with clarity, balance, and empathy in their children’s sports journeys. Through The Youth Sports Parenting Tribe podcast, I sit down with world-class coaches, athletes, and experts to explore what truly matters in raising resilient, confident young people.
This space is for parents who want to grow alongside their kids, rethink their role, and leave a meaningful legacy.
